Our New York City Partner is R.A.P.H.A. Foundation Inc, led by New York native and faith-based HIV/AIDS advocate, Dr. Miriam Burnett. She is President of R.A.P.H.A., Inc., a non-profit Health Education and Promotion Consulting Company, and Chair of the National Council of Churches’ USA Justice and Advocacy Commission and member of its Health Taskforce. One of her overwhelming foci is finding ways to combat the AIDS pandemic in the global arena, and she has called on faith-based organizations to continue finding creative ways to join together against the onslaught of the HIV/Aids pandemic.
